The Days of our Lives recap for Monday, August 10, 2020, features Ben struggling to shake his serial killer instinct, Claire deciding Salem is home, and Allie making a bombshell decision about her baby.
Ben (Robert Scott Wilson) was home and everyone rejoiced. Hope (Kristian Alfonso) was labeled a hero by Rafe, even though her captor got away. Don’t worry, Rafe has an APB out for the baddie. They’d catch him. The commissioner was sure of it.
Little did they know, Vincent (Michael Teh) was already in Salem. Not just that, but Vincent had already wandered the hospital halls dressed and orderly, visited Ben, and administered another dose of the serum. He did not intend to walk away until his job was done.
The joke was on Vincent, though. He may have gotten the IV into Ben, but not all the serum. Ben had enough of hospital life and ripped the line out of his arm and demanded to go home.
Claire (Olivia Rose Keegan) decided to stick around Salem now that she was in the clear and back in everyone’s good graces. Why go to Hong Kong when things were finally looking up in town? Marlena (Deidre Hall) was thrilled to have her home for good.
Will (Chandler Massey) spent time with his mom and forgave Sami for the hundredth time. Sure, his mom is a terrible person but meh, who isn’t? She left, Lucas (Bryan Dattilo) came in, and Will leaned on him for support. What Will needed was to get back in Sonny’s (Freddie Smith) good graces. He worried his husband would never forgive him.
Meanwhile, Allie (Lindsay Arnold) did some serious soul searching regarding her son. She held the baby and thought about what would come next for the little boy. A talk with Sami (Alison Sweeney) gave her all the clarity she needed. She sent her mom to take the baby to the nursery and snuck away.
Shocker, right? The biggest bombshell came when Sami, Nicole, and Eric found a note leaving the tot with his great aunt and uncle. Oh, Sami thought Rafe getting the baby was bad? Well, now the kid will be raised by her worst enemy. Days of our Lives (DOOL) airs weekdays on NBC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
