The Days of our Lives recap for Friday, July 31, 2020 features an explosive end to the month of weddings. Eve was on a rampage, Claire figured out the secret plan, and Allie banned her mother from her baby’s life.
Days of our Lives Recap Highlights
Eve (Kassie DePaiva) was as batty as ever and broke down her plan for Ben (Robert Scott Wilson). She was going to turn him back into the necktie killer and sic him on Ciara (Victoria Konefal). He would kill his bride, go to jail, and be tortured forever by the vision of murdering his soulmate.
Brainwashing is not an easy sport, but Eve came prepared. She injected Ben with a serum to help things along. Ben began to panic.
A Shocking Revelation
As for Ciara, she and Claire (Olivia Rose Keegan) were on the case and they had it all figured out. They narrowed the suspects down to Eve. Of course! She’s had it out for Ben for years and look how low she was always willing to go. It all made sense. Now, all they had to do was find Eve.

It’s A Boy!
Allie’s (Lindsay Arnold) baby boy was born early but all was well, at least with the baby. Mama, on the other hand, was a mess. Allie turned down holding her son and then fell apart. She wanted to be with her little boy but getting attached means she would never be able to give him away.
While babies usually bring families together, Allie’s tore hers apart. She remained steadfast in wanting distance from Sami (Alison Sweeney) and asked her to leave the hospital. Allie leaned on Nicole (Arianne Zucker) to keep her mother at bay and away from the baby.
Chad Met Jake
Meanwhile, tensions rose over at the DiMera mansion when Jake (Brandon Barash) and Gwen (Emily O’Brien) staked their claim. Chad (Billy Flynn) was good and amused but Gabi (Camila Banus) went off the rails. There was no way she wanted her dead husband’s twin lurking around the house.
Gabi warned Jake to keep his girlfriend at arm’s length. Gabi could smell a gold digger a mile away. She wasn’t wrong. Upstairs, Gwen was flirting with Chad and agreed to spy on the lady of the house. Days of our Lives (DOOL) airs weekdays on NBC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
