Days of Our Lives Recap: Accusations and Indefensible Acts

The Days of Our Lives recap for October 5-9, 2020, features two differing explanations concerning an assault in London, a man betraying his lover (for her own good), and so much more!

Days of Our Lives Recap Highlights

When it comes to Allie Horton’s (Lindsay Arnold) claim that Tripp (Lucas Adams) raped her, it’s a case of he said, she said. Allie’s story paints Tripp as a predator who took advantage of her inebriated state. Tripp insists that he and Allie didn’t even have sex – let alone a violent interaction that Allie objected to.

And while Nicole (Arianne Zuker) is firmly on Allie’s side – having practically forced the confession out of the young woman – Tripp has Steve (Stephen Nichols) on his. Kayla (Mary Beth Evans), a victim of rape herself, is uncomfortably situated somewhere in the middle.

She desperately wants to believe her stepson. But she’s well aware of the fact that he’s a master manipulator with a violent streak to boot. Only time, and a paternity test, will tell whose story is truthful.

Lie Dog

Regrets? Eli (Lamon Archey) has a few. Like lying to Lani’s (Sal Stowers) face about protecting Kristen (Stacy Haiduk). And now he has yet another trespass to make up for — guilting Ms. DiMera into confessing her crime and secretly capturing it on tape.

DAYS Musings

So Vincent (Michael Teh) claims that he shot Ciara (Victoria Konefal) dead before they arrived at the airstrip, huh? Well, if there’s one thing that just about everyone in Salem can tell you, dead doesn’t always mean dead.

Gwen (Emily O’Brien) is slowly but surely ingratiating herself into Abby (Marci Miller) and Chad’s (Billy Flynn) life – Mary Poppins she ain’t – and all the while she’s continuing to scheme against the former. But we are still none the wiser as to a motive.

Can Bonnie (Judi Evans) ever truly be redeemed? Should she be? And could you ever really accept a Bonnie/Justin (Wally Kurth) pairing?

Xander (Paul Telfer) was out, and back in, out and back in at Titan. But somebody had better warn Victor (John Aniston) that his nephew is actually the only one of his co-CEO’s who actually has his and the company’s best interest at heart.

But who can Philip (Jay Kenneth Johnson) be scheming with? Vivian (Louise Sorel)? A resurrected Deimos (Vincent Irizarry)? Give us your picks in the comments below. Days of Our Lives airs weekdays on NBC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
