The Days of our Lives recap for Friday, September 4, 2020 features two more exciting returns to the Salem fold.
Days of our Lives Recap Highlights
Everyone is feeling the upheaval at the DiMera mansion. Gabi’s (Camila Banus) sudden trip to Mexico has lives turning upside down. Jake (Brandon Barash) got drunk and wallowed in the sting of her words. Did Gabi really use him? Gwen (Emily O’Brien) was not shocked. She warned Jake to stay away.
Gwen did end up shocked when Jake said he still did not want her. Not only isn’t she second-best, but she is also no longer a thought in Jake’s romantic life. In fact, Jake wanted her to move out.
Honey, I’m Home
Gwen is not going anywhere, yet. She cemented her place in the house through Chad (Billy Flynn). He told her she could stay as long as she wanted (despite Kate wanting her gone too) so that was that. Gwen may want to rethink that, though. She and Chad were caught hugging in the living room when Abigail (Marci Miller) walked in. Oh yes, Chad’s wife was home.

Welcome Back, Tripp
Speaking of homecomings, Tripp (Lucas Adams) returned to Salem too. Steve (Stephen Nichols) and Kayla (Mary Beth Evans) were sharing a romantic evening and startled by the noise in the living room. Steve jumped into action and put the intruder in a chokehold.
All was well, though. Steve was all smiles when he realized it was not a break-in, but just his son. The attack was quickly forgiven and forgotten about.
Kristen Wants A Future
Brady (Eric Martsolf) was both happy and furious Kristen (Stacy Haiduk) was in his room. It was great to have her there but the risks outweighed the rewards. If she was caught she would be locked away for years. Kristen knew she was taking a chance, but being with Brady was important — so important she wanted to find a way for their little family to return.
As for their daughter, Rachel was over at Lani’s (Sal Stowers) place. Eli (Lamon Archey) was pretty angry about Lani helping her fugitive friend and almost put out an APB on Kristen. Lani stopped him and begged him to keep it all a secret. Eli reluctantly agreed. Days of our Lives (DOOL) airs weekdays on NBC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
