The Days of our Lives recap for Wednesday, November 18, 2020, features Jennifer and Kate duking it out, Jack getting a reality check, Jake climbing the corporate ladder, and Gwen making a confession.

Days of our Lives Recap Highlights

Jennifer (Cady McClain) blasted Kate (Lauren Koslow) during their explosive face-off. As far as Jen was concerned, Kate was nothing but an opportunistic homewrecker who went around destroying lives. Kate gave as good as she got, though, which led to Jennifer going ballistic and slapping her rival across the face.

Kate did not take the assault laying down. She struck Jen back and put her in her place. Jack (Matthew Ashford) made a mistake after losing faith but he did not leave Jen for good. Maybe Jen should be grateful she was still married.

The Truth Hurt

As for Jack, he was at the pub drinking his blues away and whining to Roman (Josh Taylor). The pity party was cut short, though. Roman was not exactly sympathetic. The affair with Kate began long before Jack went to her bed and they both knew it.

Meanwhile, Abigail (Marci Miller) was full of guilt. She stuck around the hotel hoping to catch her mom and clear her soul. JJ (Casey Moss) let her mope but told her exactly what he thought of her stunt.

Welcome, Mr. Vice President

It was a big day for Jake (Brandon Barash). He and Chad (Billy Flynn) shared some harsh words before Li Shin arrived at the garage. He had big news for Stefano’s sons.

First, Chad would be staying on as CEO. He was the best in the business and the board would not have it any other way. Second, they have a position open for Jake. Shin asked him to come to DiMera as the Vice President.

Well, who was Jake to say no? Why fix cars and bikes when he can don a suit and take on a high-level position with zero experience? Plus, it would stick it to Chad.

All The Reasons Why

At the same time, Gwen (Emily O’Brien) paid Rolf (William Utay) a visit. She bragged about her plan going off better than expected and hinted about what is to come. Rolf was impressed.

Gwen then did something Rolf did not expect. She told him the real reason she was going after Abigail. Of course, it happened off-screen and all of us are still in the dark. Days of our Lives (DOOL) airs weekdays on NBC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
