Days of Our Lives Recap: A Proposal Gone Bad!

The Days of Our Lives recap for Thursday, February 28 features some major heartache, more hidden secrets and a sneaky deal that could change everything for John and Marlena.

At the DiMera house, during another game of Chess, Chloe (Nadia Bjorlin) and Stefan (Tyler Christopher) heard glass shatter in the next room, Stefan ran towards the noise and found none other than, Gabi.

Things quickly got heated between them to the point that Gabi (Camila Banus) tried to smack Stefan across the face and Chloe (Nadia Bjorlin) got to witness a whole other side of Stefan she hadn’t seen before. Gabbi was pleased to announce she was still an employee of DiMera Enterprise just as Stefan got a call from the board to confirm it.

Diana (Judith Chapman) and Victor (John Aniston) shook hands and sealed the deal. Diana will get John (Drake Hogestyn), so long as Sonny and Will (Chandler Massey) are set free.

Sonny (Freddie Smith) and Brady (Lucas Horton) witnessed their handshake, but couldn’t make out the details. Wasting no time, Victor made an urgent call to Marlena (Deidre Hall) and requested a meeting.

At the Hospital, Rex (Kyle Lowder) proposed to Sarah (Linsey Godfrey) in front of Eric (Greg Vaughan) and to their surprise she said… no!

Rex pressed Sarah for a reason why and she responded that it was because of Eric… she was being sensitive to the fact that he just lost Nicole and didn’t want to flaunt their happiness in his face. But Rex didn’t buy it!

John apologized to Marlena for defending Leo (Greg Rikaart) and then told her his sympathy for him came from knowing he was abused by his father.

Leo asked his mother what she was doing at Victor’s house and pressed her hard for answers, but in order to calm Leo down and gain control, Diana pushed back and told Leo she knew he was the one who killed his father and had proof of it… So Leo quickly stopped with the questioning and walked away.

At the bar, Rex asked Eric yet again to help him make Sarah see that he’s the only man for her. Rex seemed desperate for his help and we all know Eric can never deny his brother of anything, even when it costs him his own happiness.

Victor and Marlena finally met at his house and things are about to get really ugly for John… because he told her that John was Leo’s father.
