Days of our Lives Recap: A Jaw Dropping Plot Twist Changes Everything

The Days of our Lives recap for Wednesday, February 3, 2021, features Gwen’s daddy issues heating up, Lani and Eli getting a clue, and Vivian not exactly excited to have twins in tow.

Ivan (Ivan G’Vera) was excited to present his presents to Vivian. Look Madame, I bought you new twins! Vivian (Linda Dano) was not as excited, though. She did not order this delivery.

An Odd Little Gift

In an odd twist, Ivan had the Grant twins stolen all on his own. He was hoping to present Vivian with the babies to atone for taking away Stefan and Jake all those years ago. Much to his surprise, Vivian was not on board.

Ivan made up a story about receiving them from a reputable doctor and the parents not being suitable parents. He eventually talked Vivian into having a look and once she did she was quite smitten.

A Huge Clue

Meanwhile, Raynor (Victoria Platt) told Eli (Lamon Archey) and Lani (Sal Stowers) everything she knew. Whomever has the babies knew them well and even had the inside track into her past. She had no idea who he was, though.

They were not getting anywhere until Raynor dropped a very small clue. She told them the man called a woman on the phone “Madame.” That was all Lani needed to hear. She realized the kidnapper was Ivan and assumed he was working for Viv.

Love Can Not Be Bought

Over at the hospital, Jack (Matthew Ashford) tried to buy off Gwen (Emily O’Brien) with a check for $50,000. It only made her even more angry. She ripped into him, tore up the check, and stormed off.

Gwen stomped around her hotel room until Chad (Billy Flynn) knocked at her door. He warned her to stay away from Abby (Marci Miller) and threatened to take her out. She made it clear the worst has yet to come.

The Awful Truth

Abigail showed up and gave Gwen the rundown of her mother’s lies. No, their dad did not have any part in anything. He did not even know Gwen was alive. She was shocked.

Jack went home and learned the whole sordid tale from Laura (Jamie Lyn Bauer). He was furious. How dare she hide his child?! Laura was full of regret. Days of our Lives (DOOL) airs weekdays on NBC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
