The Days of our Lives recap for Thursday, November 18, 2021, features the Devil getting Chanel Dupree’s tongue and making it wag, Susan Banks learning the fine art of lock picking, and Belle Black deciding that mother doesn’t always know best.

Ever the show(wo)man, Chanel (Raven Bowens) brought her mother and Abe Carver’s (James Reynolds) wedding to a dramatic halt with the news that she and Lani Grant (Sal Stowers) were sisters!
Grade A-hooey, cried Paulina Price (Jackée Harry)! Damnable lies, sputtered Lani! All true, decreed Olivia Price (Marla Gibbs). Invisible popcorn MarDevil (Deidre Hall) did eat.
With the going well and truly tough, Abe got gone, and Paulina gave chase – completely abandoning her daughters to their respective devices. Abe rained down righteous indignation on his would-be-bride; she cried.
Back at the church, MarDevil filed down its host’s nails while Theo Carver (Cameron Johnson) gave Chanel what-for, and Eli Grant (Lamon Archey) comforted Lani. After managing to somewhat calm herself, Lani went looking for her bonus mother…and found her in the Horton Town Square.

DAYS Recap: A Taste of Freedom
Over at the DiMera crypt, Susan (Stacy Haiduk) resigned herself to the hell that was seducing John Black (Drake Hogestyn) away from his wife – apparently convincing herself that if somebody had to do it, she was the right lady for the job.
John, however, suggested that they at least try to extricate themselves from their predicament. (A reluctant) Susan eventually picked the crypt’s front door, and attempted a mad dash for freedom – only to run smack dab into the MarDevil! D’oh!
DOOL Recap: Mama Drama
Nobody is infallible, not even the great Marlena Evans Black – so sayeth Belle (Martha Madison), the daughter who wouldn’t exist had Marlena been able to resist temptation and stayed true to her marriage vows. Therefore, Belle will be representing Julie Williams (Susan Seaforth Hayes) in her lawsuit against MarMar. Good luck Tink, you’re gonna need it!
