The Days of Our Lives recap for February 22-26, 2021, features someone punching Charlie’s ticket, Susan throwing herself into a lion’s den, and Evan taking charge.
Charlie Dale (Mike Manning) continued to attract detractors, and those detractors were quick to issue threats of violent reprisal. Belle (Martha Madison) said she’d kill him after catching him lunching at Claire (Isabel Durant) – who had just failed in her attempt to entrap him. Ditto a concerned Nicole (Arianne Zucker).
Allie (Lindsay Arnold) entertained the idea of doing to Charlie what she had planned to do to Tripp (Lucas Adams), while John (Drake Hogestyn) intimated that the rapist’s days were numbered.
Even Ava (Tamara Braun) got in on the action. After all, she brought the villain into the world, so why shouldn’t she be the one to take him out of it?
But it was Sami (Alison Sweeney) who wound up being found inside Charlie’s apartment…along with Charlie’s corpse!
After witnessing Brady (Eric Martsolf) and Chloe’s (Nadia Bjorlin) chemistry first hand, Susan (Stacy Haiduk) agreed to take Kristen’s (Stacy Haiduk) place at Statesville…and she wasn’t even deterred by the prospect of sharing the same cell block with “vampiress” Vivian Alamain (Linda Dano).
With the change over completed, Kristen scurried over to John and Marlena’s (Deidre Hall) and found Chloe changing Brady’s dressing. With great difficulty, Kristen managed to stay in character, and not kill Chloe on the spot. However, “Susan’s” sudden territorial attitude greatly disturbed Chloe and Brady.
Meanwhile, Susan struggled to adjust to her new surroundings. She hated the lumpy mattress, she hated the lights that never shut off, and she was particularly disturbed by the institution’s distinct lack of an ice cream sundae bar.
So she wasn’t particularly in the mood for visitors. But visit Lani (Sal Stowers) did. And she could immediately tell that something was off with her “bestie.” Susan tried to play it off, and play her part, but a conversation about children threatened to give the game away.
Philip (Jay Kenneth Johnson) agreed to go into business with Gabi (Camila Banus)…then immediately regretted his decision. And not because he had doubts about the line’s viability. Instead, it was all down to Gabi’s continued obsession with Jake (Brandon Barash).
However, a contracts a contract. And Philip was fairly enthused with the prospect of blowing Basic Black out of the water – and embarrassing DiMera Enterprises all at the same time. Looks like Jake picked the perfect time to finally convince Kate (Lauren Koslow) to come on board as his adviser.
Though Evan (Brock Kelly) continued to treat Ciara (Victoria Konefal) in the ways in which she had grown accustomed, he made it clear that he planned to punish her for all the upheaval she caused in her pursuit of justice for Ben (Robert Scott Wilson).
And while the prospect frightened his hostage, it infuriated it his father who’d concocted his own strategy on how to best deal with their acquisition. Days of our Lives airs weekdays on NBC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
