The Days of Our Lives recap for Thursday, May 14, 2020, features a devastating day for Evan, a bad afternoon for Abigail, and an emotional moment for Gabi.
Days of our Lives Recap Highlights
It was a great day for Rafe (Galen Gearing) — until it wasn’t. The good news was the courts found Evan (Brock Kelly) guilty and he was sentenced to 20 years. Then, it turned out he may not be guilty. Evan took his lumps but Orpheus was not pleased. It was time they did it his way (oh like last year, Zoey pointed out). Zoey vowed to make it right. It was the least she could do, she said.
The Next Right Thing
Speaking of criminals, Lani (Sal Stowers) had it out with Eli (Lamon Archey). He was furious she helped Kristen get away but she was adamant she did the right thing. She begged him to keep her secret and he agreed, but they each continued to struggle with it.
Abby: From Bad To Worse
Turmoil unfolded at the hospital. Abigail (Kate Mansi) was checked in for help and boy, did she need it. The hallucinations had not let up (in fact, she was getting worse) and her family was in a panic. Chad blamed it all on Gabi but Gabi was nowhere near the scene. Marlena suggested she get help and went to make some calls.

Abby wasn’t the only going off the rails. Gabi (Camila Banus) was bound and determined to fix Rolf’s mistake. She had the serum and was ready to use it but she never got the chance, though. Ben (Robert Scott Wilson) stopped her, took the syringe, and took off with it.
Gabi continued to try to convince Jake (Brandon Barash) to see she was right. He IS Stefan and one day he would see that. Jake had enough and told her it was time she left well enough alone.
Ben took the syringe right to the hospital and asked Marlena to get it analyzed. They need to know what is really in Rolf’s magic potion. He told her to the story of Gabi trying to inject his boss but refused to go any further.
A Dangerous Encounter
The drama for Marlena didn’t stop there. While she was working on getting someone to take care of Abby, Orpheus entered the room. He warned Marlena she was in big trouble! Days of our Lives (DOOL) airs weekdays on NBC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
