Days of Our Lives PREDICTION!!! Is Theresa Slowly Dying?

We all know Jen Lilley will leave “Days of Our Lives” and the role of Theresa behind this fall. In fact, she already taped her last scenes, but we still get to see her for a few more months.

While there’s been no official word on how DAYS will write Theresa off the canvas, there have been hints. We do know her parents, Kim and Shane, return this fall. Both Patsy Pease and Charles Shaughnessy have said to expect a dramatic storyline and we bet it has something to do with Lilley’s departure.

We also know via a tweet that Larry Poindexter was on set this spring taping church scenes. He tagged both Pease and Shaughnessy, as well as Eric Martsolf, who plays Theresa’s fiance, Brady.

Fans quickly began speculating that Summer might kill Theresa in a fatal attraction-like story. However, we now know Summer will exit Salem in a few short weeks–long before we lose Lilley as Theresa.

This week, DAYS began dropping hints that something may be off with Theresa. She’s unusually tired and even fell asleep with Tate at the park, causing quite the confrontation with Victor. She also looked sickly and gaunt, and we could tell the show did Lilley’s makeup differently that day. This leads Soap Hub to wonder–could Theresa be dying of cancer?

If this is so (and this is PURE speculation), then it would bring Brady’s life full circle. His own mother died of cancer when he was just a baby, leaving John to raise a little boy on his own. (OK, he did get help from Marlena.) Brady could suffer the same fate as his father, with Theresa leaving him with Tate to raise on his own.

If DAYS is going this route, we applaud it. Lilley deserves a dramatic goodbye worthy of her talents and a slow death story certainly fits the bill. Again, Soap Hub is just speculating, but the writing may already be on the “Days of Our Lives” wall…
