Days of our Lives Poll Results: Will You Miss Rafe and Gabi?

Salem is going to need a traffic controller soon, with all the people who have announced that they’re coming – and going – to/from Days of our Lives.

The Hernandez family has been depleted as it is over the years, but now it seems that the last holdouts, Rafe (Galen Gering) and Gabi (Camila Banus), are on the way out this week. Will you miss this sibling duo (until they return when the show returns in September to make new shows)? How almost 6,500 fans feel:

Stay With Me, Baby

A majority 57% are crushed. You love them both and want them to stay! Rafe and Hope (Kristian Alfonso) are just starting to explore their rekindled feelings, and Gabi and Stefan-lookalike Jake (Brandon Barash) haven’t even gotten started. You feel cheated of the fireworks!

Cop Out

A smaller 37% of the audience doesn’t care about Gabi – don’t let the door hit you on the way out! But you are brokenhearted about Rafe. Salem doesn’t have that many strong, upstanding leading men – who also aren’t related to half the town. Rafe isn’t a Brady, he isn’t a Horton, he isn’t a DiMera, and he isn’t a Johnson. We can’t afford to let him go!

Forever and a Days

It’s only 4% of viewers who said they hope these two never come back. Rafe and Hope are dunnzo. And Rafe and Sami (Alison Sweeney) aren’t much better. As for Gabi, she has pretty much pissed off everybody in town. She has no one left to aggravate. Her work here is done. So go away, already.

Regrouping Therapy

And then there’s the teeny, tiny 2% that is brokenhearted about only Gabi leaving. You can’t say the woman wasn’t living her best life while she was in Salem. She was a villain, she was a victim, she was a lover, she was a fighter. We’ve seen every facet of Gabi possible. Let’s give her a rest. And somebody else a chance at the front burner.
