Days of our Lives Poll Results: Why Are Ben and Will Jailhouse Roommates?

Days of our Lives has a lot of odd housemates these days. John (Drake Hogestyn) and Marlena (Deidre Hall) are hosting Hattie… and “Steve” (Stephen Nichols). Justin (Wally Kurth) is living with Kayla (Mary Beth Evans), while Ciara (Victoria Konefal) is kissing up to Grandpa Victor (John Aniston).

But all of that makes perfect sense compared to Will (Chandler Massey) and Ben (Robert Scott Wilson) SHARING A JAIL CELL! Seriously, how does that make any sense, over 2,000 fans want to know?

Has the Salem Penal System forgotten that BEN KILLED WILL? As in wound a necktie around his neck and strangled the life out of him? (Luckily, Dr. Rolf was lurking about, and Will was only mostly dead. BUT THAT’S NOT THE POINT.)

The point is, shouldn’t there be some kind of rule against victims sharing a jail cell with their perpetrators, 57% of you wonder. It would be traumatic. For both of them! (Ben is ever so sensitive, after all. For, you know, a serial killer.) And it might lead to trouble. The one thing prison wardens are not big fans of is trouble. Especially the kind of trouble that leads to more trouble. End this entire story now!

Ben and Will: Should Old Acquaintance Be Forgot

But then there are 43% of Days of our Lives fans who want to let bygones be bygones. New Year’s and all, you know? Why shouldn’t Ben and Will be pals? They have so much in common now! Both are in prison, away from the loves of their lives, dealing with Clyde (James Read).

Those are all bonding experiences and, let’s face it, it’s not like they have anyone else. Why else would Ben keep telling Will the story of his unjust imprisonment over and over again?
