Claire is back on Days of our Lives, and back right in the thick of things. She was sure eager to “help” Ciara (Victoria Konefal) with her wedding to Ben (Robert Scott Wilson), isn’t she? She “helped” clean up her wedding gown. And then she got fired from being maid of honor.
What should come next for Claire (Olivia Rose Keegan)? What almost 7,000 viewers are hoping for:
Claire’s ‘I’m All Better Act’ isn’t fooling 39% of the audience, who want her shipped right back to the sanatorium. She is quite obviously not OK, and she is even more obviously a danger to others. No matter what Grandpa John (Drake Hofysten) and Grandma Marlena (Deidre Hall) might think, the girl is still cuckoo for Cocoa Puffs, and shouldn’t be let anywhere near her aunt Ciara – or her future Uncle Ben.
If Claire won’t go back to the psychiatric hospital, then 28% of you are OK with her going with Belle (Martha Madison) and Shawn (Brandon Beemer)… all the way out of town. If she won’t listen to a doctor, she can let Mommy and Daddy take care of her. But she definitely needs to be taken care of.
As they might have sung in West Side Story, “She don’t need a shrink, she needs a year in the pen.” A not insubstantial 18% don’t want to see Claire in a hospital – you want her in jail! That’s where criminals go… if not in Salem.
A last-place 15% believe Claire is innocent, and you want to see her name cleared in time for the wedding. Claire deserves a second chance, the same way Abigail (Kate Mansi) got one, the same way Gabi (Camila Banus) got one, the same way Kate (Lauren Koslow), and Ben, and too many more to count. Days of our Lives (DOOL) airs weekdays on NBC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
