First things first on Days of our Lives: Mickey — short for Mackenzie — is an absolutely adorable name and a touching way for Sarah to honor her beloved adoptive dad.
Now, speaking of dads — adoptive and biological — sure, in real-time, it took Eric (Greg Vaughan) over a year to find out that he was Mickey’s bio dad. But, thanks to the time jump, it was only a few days for those watching the show. Is that how you spill a major secret? Did it happen too fast?
Days of our Lives: Time Enough To Last
If Jack (Matthew Ashford) said it’s been a year, then it’s been a year, 77% of you are happy to get with the program. And that means Eric waited long enough. He’s had his suspicions since the beginning, and he even asked Sarah if he was the father — several times. A faked paternity test made him back off, but blood will tell. Or, you know, in this case… Nicole (Arianne Zucker).
Now that Eric knows, the story can really pick up speed. What was Sarah about to tell Xander (Paul Telfer) right before Eric burst in? Xander had just told Sarah he loved her. Does she love him back? And where does that leave Eric and Nicole? Will Mickey’s parents reunite?
Oh, and, by the way, is Mickey even the baby Eric fathered and Sarah delivered? We’ve heard about the “terrible” night when she was born. And whatever happened to Brady (Eric Martsolf) and Kristen’s (Stacy Haiduk) child?
Taking Your Time
That’s it, 23% of the Days of our Lives fans wonder? A couple of days and the secret is out? Story over? That’s all she wrote?
This is ridiculous! You were anticipating months’ worth of angst. Not Nicole cracking at the first kidnapping! There has to be more to this tale! Days of our Lives (DOOL) airs weekdays on NBC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
