So if Stefano is back, what about Stefan (Brandon Barash), the son he never met, who died in a very DiMera way — via crossfire — thanks to his crazy mother. A majority 65% of you are definitely rooting for yet another rise from the dead and a hot, steamy reunion for one of Salem’s surprise couples. When Stefan and Gabi first got together — and admitted this was real, not just an emotionless con — fans sat up and took notice.
This was the bad boy/bad girl pairing you needed… even when you didn’t know you wanted it. They were just getting started when Lani (Sal Stowers) cut Stefan down and got Gabi to donate his heart to Julie (Susan Seaforth Hayes). Okay, so there was a catch.

Stefan went through two incarnations. The one who was obsessed with Abigail (Kate Mansi) to the point of enabling her to believe she was a whole other person, and the one who got over her once he hit the sheets with Gabi.
