There are some major secrets due to come out on Days of our Lives. And they all took place during the infamous time jump.
It may take a while but, eventually, all of Salem will need to know that Victor (John Aniston) and Xander (Paul Telfer) switched Sarah’s (Linsey Godfrey) dead baby for Kristen (Stacy Haiduk) and Brady’s (Eric Martsolf) dead one in order to keep Maggie (Suzanne Rogers) from learning she’d killed her granddaughter in a drunk driving accident.
Xander did it because he loves Sarah. And now she’s admitted she loves him back. Yay…. So what happens once she learns what he did? Should she forgive him? We heard from almost 8,000 fans about the possibility:
It was super-close, but 40% of you persevered to assert that yes, eventually she should. But it should take time. Lots and lots of time. There should be drama and angst and heartache and sobbing. You know, soapy stuff. What’s the point of doing anything if it doesn’t result in soapy stuff?
A slightly smaller 39% of Days of our Lives fans don’t want to wait. Sarah should understand that Xander was just trying to save her from the devastation of losing her child, so he did what any man would do — commit a crime — to make it happen. If Sarah doesn’t know what love looks like, she doesn’t deserve it. Stupid, Sarah.
A not much smaller 21% are on the opposite side of the fence. You hope Sarah never, ever forgives him. What Xander did was unconscionable. Losing Mickey now will be even worse, worse than the original death would have been, because she’s raised the baby and loved her, and saw her through health crises.
Xander is responsible for an infinite amount of Sarah’s pain. That’s unforgivable. Even on a soap. Days of our Lives (DOOL) airs weekdays on NBC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
