Days of our Lives Poll Results: Should Anna and Tony Return To Salem?

One of the last times we saw Tony and Anna on Days of our Lives, he wasn’t at all happy to find out that Anna was behind him losing his CEO position at DiMera. She only did it for him, of course. Everything Anna (Leann Hunley) does is for Tony (Thaao Penghlis). But now they’ll have to settle their differences in Europe, where Anna has been visiting daughter Carrie (Christie Clark) and grandson Noah.

Little House on the Soapy

A majority 59% of the audience is always excited to see these two wacky kids. No one else on daytime sees the world quite the way Anna does. Who else walks around with their late husband’s ashes in her purse — while carrying on conversations with his urn? And who else has come back from the dead as many times as Tony — well, save Papa Stefano, of course.

There is no one else quite like them, and every moment in their presence is a treat. So, more treats, please, show.

Appetizer, Not Meal

A smaller 41% of Days of our Lives fans are fine with the way things are. Anna and Tony can drift in, Anna and Tony can drift out.

They can take cooking classes, they can take road trips, they can take lunch with John (Drake Hogysten) and ‘Steve’ (Stephen Nichols) and make the latter anxious (while the former remains in his usual state of oblivious silver foxness). Too much Tony and Anna would be… too much Tony and Anna.

They’re funny, they’re fun… but they’re not daily front burner material. So go on, guys, go to Europe, visit Carrie and Noah, then come back in a few months and fill us in on how they’re doing.
