On Days of our Lives, remember how we were told that Abigail was not to blame for killing Andre and framing Gabi because she wasn’t in her right mind… but she’s all better now, so forgive, forget, and don’t keep throwing her past up in her face, as you do for some other characters?

Well, it’s starting to look like maybe Abby (Kate Mansi) isn’t quite as recovered as previously thought. She’s coming in and out of reality. Bad for her, good for you? (Do we really think its drugs, or might it be something else?) Do fans want Abigail to become Gabigail again? What over 2,000 fans told us they’d like to see:

It wasn’t even close as 91% of you swore that you didn’t like the story the first time around. You are certainly in no mood to relive it again.

Abby (then-Marci Miller) sashaying around in a dark wig, calling herself Gabby – after she’d sent the real Gabi (Camila Banus) to prison for a crime she didn’t commit – sleeping with Stefan (then-Tyler Christopher) and pushing away Chad (Billy Flynn), was annoying to fans as it was happening. Even thinking about it happening again is annoying you now. Don’t go there, show. Don’t go there.

Turnabout Is Fair Play

In fact, a tiny 5% of you would only be willing to relive the misery if it’s a way for Abby to get revenge on Gabi. For having the gall to be angry about being sent to prison. Abby needs to win. Again. Because she’s a Horton, you know.

Daytime Drama

A mere 4% of the audience sees the dramatic potential of Gabigail returning. Not only would it throw a monkey wrench into Chad and Abby sitting around, talking about how happy they are, but it would give them something to do, period.
