Days of our Lives ex-spouses Rafe and Hope truly live in two different worlds now. He is busy with his newly adopted toddler, David, while she… has been taken over by the mind of a Eurotrash princess in cahoots with SteVano (Stephen Nichols).
Can this (already-severed) marriage be saved? Do you want it to be? What we heard from over 2,000 fans:
This couple never made sense to 54% of the audience and having Hope (Kristian Alfonso) now waltzing around as Princess Gina isn’t helping. Also, Rafe (Galen Gering) was boring before. He has not become any more interesting with the addition of Ben’s nutty sister’s baby… even hot manny Evan (Brock Peters) isn’t helping all that much.
To continue with the thread of why they should not be together, remember when Rafe wanted to adopt David and Hope said no, thank you, I am a grandmother of a crazy teen and I am not interested in raising a child who will likely also grow up to be a crazy teen? That part hasn’t changed either.
While fans would love to see Hope come back to her senses, they really don’t need to see her come back to Rafe.
Sure, Rafe is dull, 46% of Days of our Lives fans shrug. But it’s not like Hope has any better options on the canvas. Yes, SteVano may eventually have to pretend that he and “Hope” are together as a way to throw Kayla (Mary Beth Evans) off the scent. And, yes, Princess Gina thinks she wants John (Drake Hogysten). But all those stances are temporary. Gina will eventually revert back to being Hope — right? right? — and then… Rafe will be the last man left standing.
Love of Hope’s life Bo (Peter Reckell) is dead — again. So why not stick with Rafe? Days of our Lives (DOOL) airs weekdays on NBC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
