Days Of Our Lives Poll Results: Jail Time For Gina?

On Days Of Our Lives, Princess Gina does believe she needs to answer to any American laws. Or the laws of any other country for that matter. This does beg the question of what country she’s Princess of exactly. Maybe she’s a deposed Russian royal. Or Mayan.

In any case, Shawn (Brandon Beemer) doesn’t care. He wants to throw his mom’s body — with Gina’s (Kristian Alfonso) brain… soul… essence… whatever… — into prison. Do you agree that’s where she belongs? Input from almost 5,000 voters:

The dominant 83% of you are totally on board with Shawn’s plan. Eve (Kassie DePaiva) spent a year in prison for pushing Jennifer (Melissa Reeves) over the balcony and putting her into a coma. So why shouldn’t Gina?

Also, she schemed with SteVano (Stephen Nichols), kidnapped a bit here and there, and tried to come between John (Drake Hogestyn) and Marlena (Deidre Hall)! That last one deserves the strongest penalty available by law.

So what if Hope’s body will end up paying the price? Isn’t that what it’s already doing? As long as Hope is in prison in her own body, Gina should be in a real prison. The kind with bars. And non-designer outfits.

Two For the Road

A smaller 17% of Days of Our Lives fans don’t think it’s fair for Hope to pay for Gina’s crimes. If Officer Williams-Brady ever returns, how will she be able to prove it?

After all, Gina passed herself off as Hope for over a year and even managed to play Rafe (Galen Garing) once the truth was out. If Gina is in jail, there will be no chance for Hope to come back out.
