Princess Gina has psyched us out before on Days of our Lives, letting fans think that Hope had returned when, really, it was just a clever act.

No, She Isn’t
Believe it or not, this has never happened before. We’ve got an exactly 50-50 tie! But, just like with actual votes and electoral college vote, a statistical tie doesn’t mean an exact agreement.
It came down to only eight voters, but those were the ones who put, “No, she’s still Gina” over the top. And why not? Like we’ve indicated above, Her Royal Highness has pulled this stunt before. Why not put on her Hope-ful face and count on Hope’s precious believing it all?

After all, Shawn (Brandon Beemer) has something to do with law enforcement. And Ciara (Victoria Konefal) just got a serial killer off death row! (OK, so that’s not what he was up for, it was a different killing, one he didn’t do. But she is still that good!)
Yes, She Is
Meanwhile, another 50% of the audience believes in good triumphing over evil and happy endings. Gina is gone for good, you cheer! Hope is Hope! Now she can return to being a mother, a grandmother, a police chief, and maybe even a romance with Rafe (Galen Gering)…
Of course, Hope has other options. She’s no longer interested in John (Drake Hogysten). That was a Gina thing. But what about other possibilities? We have a feeling Xander (Paul Telfer) is going to be single real soon…
