Days of our Lives Poll Results: Fans Express Their Time Jump Feelings

Time sure does fly on Days of our Lives! And fans have had their heads spinning thanks to a time hop over the last few weeks.

Jennifer takes a little nap and, next thing you know, Will (Chandler Massey), Eve (Kassie DePaiva), and Ben (Robert Scott Wilson) are in jail, Adrienne (Judi Evans) and Haley (Thia Megia) are dead, Abigail (Kate Mansi) and Chad (Billy Flynn) are back, Gabi (Camila Banus) and Eli (Lamon Archey) and together, Xander (Paul Telfer) is playing house with Sarah (Linsay Godfrey) and her baby, and Kristen (Stacy Haiduk) and Lani (Sal Stowers) are nuns! So a lot is happening. But are the fans enjoying it? What over 3,000 fans to say:

Days of our Lives: Too Much, Too Fast

Not according to 65% of you. Why are Kayla (Mary Beth Evans) and Justin (Wally Kurth) hooking up? Why has no one noticed that Princess Gina is pretending to be Hope (Kristian Alfonso)? Why is JJ (Casey Moss) on drugs and Ciara (Victoria Konefal) kissing up to Victor (John Aniston) and then there’s that manny flirting with Sonny (Freddie Smith)?

But the worst part is, you are constantly being TOLD about what’s happened over the past year, rather than being SHOWN. If you wanted that, you could have read a synopsis on the Days of our Lives website.

Sure, there’s a flashback here and there, but that’s disjointed. You want to watch a story develop every day, not constantly be playing catch up and feeling lost.

Time Jump:  Moving On

Then again, 35% of Days of our Lives fans are is loving it. Instead of watching drama play out in real-time, you’re getting only the highlights. The action is finally moving, and you have to stay on your toes to make sure you don’t miss a moment.
