On Days of our Lives, Maggie is doing a farewell tour, letting everyone tell her how wonderful she is for taking responsibility for what she did. Which is a pretty rare quality in Salem.
Maggie (Suzanne Rogers) got drunk, climbed behind the wheel of a car, and killed Adrienne (Judi Evans). Also her own granddaughter, but she doesn’t know that yet, because Victor (John Aniston) and Xander (Paul Telfer) switched her baby with Brady (Eric Martsolf) and Kristen’s (Stacy Haiduk).
So, she’s still got that to find out down the line. For now, though, Maggie is off to jail. Does she deserve it? We heard from over 4,000 fans!
The winning 66% of you see no reason why Maggie should serve time for killing Adrienne (and the real Mickey), while Ben (Robert Scott Wilson) is walking around after all the people he killed, Xander skated for kidnapping Nicole (Arianne Zucker), Kristen never paid a penalty for cutting a baby out of Theresa’s womb, and Hope (Kristian Alfonso) is about to walk for pushing Jennifer (Melissa Reeves) off a balcony.
Oh, blah, blah, blah, Hope wasn’t in her right mind. Neither was Maggie! Chip implanted in your head, drunk out of your gourd… what’s the difference?
Only 34% of Days of our Lives fans are looking forward to seeing Maggie pay. How many months did Will (Chandler Massey) serve for the crime she committed? He’s never going to get those months back. So, why should Maggie?
Plus, maybe this will start a fun trend. Maybe guilty people will actually be punished in Salem now! Gabi (Camila Banus) will go to jail for threatening Julie’s (Susan Seaforth Hayes) heart. And, to be fair, Abigail (Kate Mansi) will face the music for what she did to Gabi. Town will seem a little deserted… Days of our Lives (DOOL) airs weekdays on NBC.
