If there is one thing that Days Of Our Lives fans know, it’s that you can’t keep a bad girl down. Even when she’s been shot and buried.
Just look at Kate (Lauren Koslow) crawling her way out of the premature grave Vivian (Robin Strasser) stuffed her into. (At least when she did it to Carly years ago, Vivian knew she was alive and wanted her to suffer. The woman is losing her touch.)
Everyone was so sure Kate wasn’t going to make it that Lucas (Bryan Dattilo) and Will (Chandler Massey) agreed to donate her heart to Julie (Susan Seaforth Hayes). (Maybe Gabi is right, maybe Kayla shouldn’t be so quick to pronounce Stefan dead… or anyone to believe her.) But then Kate woke up. Were you happy about it? What over 8000 fans had to say:
Kate’s still got a whole lot of living to do, 85% of Days of Our Lives fans were happy to announce. She has children’s lives to meddle in, tangled webs to weave, companies to take over and men to seduce. Kate is a Salem staple, and the ol’ town would have seemed boring without her.
Heck, even Sami (Alison Sweeney) might have missed her… eventually. It’s a good thing she’s still with us. As for Julie… eh, any heart will do, it seems. Genetic match? What genetic match?
On the other hand, 15% of the audience was really crossing her fingers this would be it. What purpose does the women serve except to tell her kids how to live their lives, and periodically either scheme with or against Gabi?
She’s become kind of one-note, and her romance with Ted (Gilles Marini) went nowhere — because nobody likes you, Kate. At least dead, she’d have done somebody some good. Days of our Lives (DOOL) airs weekdays on NBC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
