Days of our Lives’ Stephen Nichols and Mary Beth Evans understand that people have lots of time on their hands during this pandemic, and to help pass that time with a little fun, the former (and possibly future?) onscreen supercouple took to YouTube to answer some of their fans’ questions.
Fun With Days of our Lives Stars
The two friends start the virtual Q&A in adorable fashion, calling each other “honey” and “my sweetness” and talk about how much they miss each other. With Evans in her bedroom and Nichols in his office, the two answer questions that were sent in by loyal fans.
The first question deals with the actors’ routine while stuck at home. Both answered that they are sleeping later and Evans starts her day with coffee and reading both The New York Times and Los Angeles Times. She also enjoys looking at Instagram and seeing all the old Patch and Kayla clips and memories from fans. Of course, she loves having this time to spend with her new grandbaby.
“I try to get my coffee together before I have to feed the cat,” Nichols shared. “If I don’t have a task I need to get to immediately, I sit in the rocking chair in my sitting room and read the news.”
He adds he’ll do some work—such as painting the house—and always checks to see if his grandkids are available to virtually read a book or play the ukulele with him.
They also answered questions about hobbies (Evans is baking more); what they’ve learned about themselves during this time (Stephen Nichols finds mediation helps him to focus); what they are most grateful for; and what they are looking forward to once restrictions are lifted.
“Going to restaurants,” Evans answered. “I went to the movies every Saturday night for the last five years.”
Nichols agreed, saying he and his wife can go to the movies up to three to four times a week, revealing his favorite night includes a medium popcorn with some Reese’s Pieces thrown in.
