SORAS, aka Soap Opera Rapid-Aging Syndrome, occurs on soap operas when children seem to age years overnight! Off-screen, fortunately, the process happens more naturally. Still, as Days of our Lives star Linsey Godfrey can attest — little ones still grow up fast!
Godfrey took to Instagram to celebrate her daughter Aleda’s (AKA Ledy) birthday. “[Six] years ago today this little golden fairy goddess came into my world and changed everything forever,” the actress wrote on social media. “Aleda, Ledy, Birdie, you are my greatest love. You are already such an amazing tiny human!
“You have the biggest, kindest heart!” Godfrey continued. “You’re SO funny, heavens are you smart (bites me in the bum sometimes) you’re my favorite person to play with! I love you so much kiddo ❤️🦄🌈👩👧 Me and you kiddo, forever.”
Aleda’s dad is Robert Adamson, who recurs as Noah on The Young and the Restless. Godfrey and Adamson used to work across the hall from one another when she played Caroline on The Bold and the Beautiful. Soap Hub wishes Aleda a very happy 6th birthday!
DOOL made its debut in 1965 and is one of the longest-running daytime soap operas in American history. Needless to say, five decades of storylines have kept viewers locked in and wanting more.
From Kristen DiMera’s (Stacy Haiduk) evil schemes to Victor Kiriakis’s (John Aniston) one-liners to the epic love story of John (Drake Hogestyn) and Marlena (Deidre Hall), DAYS knows how to entertain and keep fans coming back for more.
DAYS is one of four remaining soap operas currently on the air. The other three daytime dramas include General Hospital (GH), The Young and the Restless (YR), and The Bold and the Beautiful (BB). DAYS airs weekdays on NBC. Check your local listings for air times.
