Days of our Lives star Farah Fath has shared plenty of screen time with Judi Evans as daughter and mother Mimi and Bonnie Lockhart, and the actress was devastated to learn about more of Evans’ problems.
Farah Fath Reaches Out
As Soap Hub reported yesterday, the beloved Daytime Emmy-winning star, who also plays (the presumed dead) Adrienne on the show, learned she was positive for COVID-19, after being exposed to the coronavirus while in the hospital recovering from surgery after falling off a horse recently. On her Twitter page, Fath sent a loving message to her TV mom.
“Sending all my daughter’s love to my sweet @TheJudiEvans. I’m speechless at how utterly unfair life has been for this woman these past 6 months,” she wrote, adding seven heart emojis to the post. “Please keep her in your hearts as she recovers. ILYSSSM, Judi.”
Evans’ publicist Howie Simon is keeping her fans abreast of the situation on his Facebook page, explaining how Evans had what is known as “the COVID blood clots in her legs” and as a result, she nearly had both legs amputated on two different occasions.
And to make matters worse, when Evans went into surgery, Simon alleges doctors forgot to numb her leg and cut into it while she was fully conscious!
“However speaking to her on Sunday, she was in good spirits and back to Judi ‘humor’ despite all these spiraling turn of events,” he wrote. “She has said she appreciates all the prayers for her and they’ve helped her mentally, physically and spiritually! She just wants to continue to test negative on COVID19 before she can go home and get the rest she so needs!!!”
DAYS fans will be seeing Evans back in Salem shortly as her co-star and friend Wally Kurth (Justin) has spilled that the actress will be making an appearance soon—though whether that’s as Bonnie, a ghostly Adrienne, or his back-from-the-dead wife remains to be seen.
Adrienne, like Judi Evans, has always been a fighter, so don’t be surprised if she somehow returns. Days of our Lives (DOOL) airs weekdays on NBC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
