Days of our Lives News Update: Actors Reveal Hilarity Behind The Scenes

Days of our Lives provided a ton of laughs on Thursday as Ben and Jake fought Xander for the book they needed to try to save a kidnapped Gabi. Even Ciara joined in the melee and while what made it onscreen was fun for fans to see, apparently it wasn’t that easy for the actors to keep a straight face.

Brandon Barash Reveals The Fun

Considering the fact that DAYS used to be eight months ahead of what was airing, the scenes were shot a while ago so that when they air, it’s a fun chance to revisit for the actors.

After the hilarity that aired Thursday, a tweet of an image from it caused Telfer, who plays Xander, retweeted the post but added, “Salem Book Club weekly catch up.” This caused many fans to respond with their own kudos for the scene, saying how much they had enjoyed watching all four work together. But the actors involved also responded!

Brandon Barash (Jake) reminded his co-stars about the set that day. “How much fun did we have shooting this scene?! @PaulTelfer ‘s level of commitment was on another level, and @MrRobertScott @victoriakonefal and I lost it when they called cut,” he shared.

Robert Scott Wilson (Ben) also chimed in, letting fans know his thoughts about it. “Honestly have never laughed harder in a scene in my life. Miss y’all!” Barash responded saying, “Yup. I was crying. Miss y’all, too!”

Luckily for viewers, while the actors haven’t seen each other since the show halted production due to the coronavirus back in March, there was a huge stockpile of fresh content so fans haven’t had to miss any Salem action.

But now that The Bold and the Beautiful has made strides to return, despite their brief pause this week, could these actors see an on-set reunion sometime soon?
