It’s been a rather CIN-ful week on Days of our Lives as everyone who’s anyone in Salem is celebrating the union of Ben and Ciara. But when the cameras stopped, that didn’t mean the celebrations did too. Their co-stars took part in the good times and then the actors themselves did something even more amazing to give back to the fans.
Days of our Lives Celebrates Ben and Ciara’s Love
Of course, no beautiful daytime wedding is complete without the gorgeous dress worn by the bride. While this was Ciara’s (Victoria Konefal) first trip down the aisle, her mother Hope (Kristian Alfonso) has certainly done this before.
As the proud onscreen mother of the bride, Alfonso was kind enough to share a picture of the man who made it all happen — longtime costume designer Richard Bloore. Alison Sweeney (Sami) commented on her Instagram post, writing “Gorgeous.”
Co-star Sal Stowers (Lani) was kind enough to share an adorable backstage video of herself with Konefal on Twitter that shows how much fun these actors have when the camera stops rolling. “In honor of #CinWedding. ♥️👏🏽 Missing these moments @victoriakonefal and @linseygodfrey back there gettin it! lol captured by @LamonArchey. Xx 😘 @nbcdays #Days”
As for the bride and groom, their portrayers, Konefal and Wilson, held an Instagram Live for their fans despite Wilson having a bit of a froggy voice due to playing paintball all weekend. They answered questions from the fans, talking about what they like about their relationship, their favorite scenes (for Konefal, it’s stuff that hasn’t aired yet), and so much more.
Both actors are very excited that the wedding is airing and fans are finally getting to see it. Sounds like there’s far more in store that should be fun to see so be sure to stay tuned. Days of our Lives (DOOL) airs weekdays on NBC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
