The new Claire made her Days of our Lives debut Wednesday, but that doesn’t mean the star who previously brought Claire to life, Olivia Rose Keegan, doesn’t still keep up with Salem happenings — at least on social media.
The actress, who had to move on from her Daytime Emmy-winning role to tackle a new character on Season 2 of High School Musical: The Musical – The Series, recently responded on Twitter to DAYS head writer Ron Carlivati’s well wishes for her next chapter with thoughts of her own — both about her time on the NBC soap, as well as Claire’s future.
Carlivati got the ball rolling when he said this about Keegan: “A huge thank you to @oliviakeegann who brought Claire Brady to life and made us care about her even when she was at her most dastardly. Wishing Olivia all the best as she writes her next chapter… #days.”
Keegan responded by saying, “Playing Claire has been the opportunity of a lifetime and I am beyond grateful to have been trusted with such a beautiful story. Thank you for everything. So excited to see @IsabelDurant1 take the reigns 😊❤️”
It was an incredibly classy move on Keegan’s part and surely appreciated by both the show and Durant. Of course, Keegan fans are excited to see her career blossom from here.
Meanwhile, Claire’s story of overcoming her mental health issues to earn back the trust of her family, especially her aunt and BFF Ciara (Victoria Konefal), is now in the hands of Durant. Fans are eager to see what she does with the role. What will Claire do next? Stay tuned to find out. Days of our Lives (DOOL) airs weekdays on NBC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
