As Days of our Lives fans prepare for the return of Sami, they continue to wish that her sister Carrie would also make a comeback. But actress Christie Clark has at least checked in with fans after her coronavirus experience.
In March, the actress reported that she and her husband were battling what they assumed was COVID-19 but they weren’t able to get tested because tests were then reserved for those who needed hospitalization. Now she has taken to Instagram with an update and to talk about what’s on her mind.
“Dear fellow Americans, Thinking about you hourly, whilst in the UK. Proud that a good chunk of you are sticking up for each other. Be kind and love all colours of skin. Sending positive vibes your way from across the pond, during these insane times,” she shared.
“On a side note, I tested positive for Coronavirus antibodies from back in March when I was sick) from the government-approved test. Which I can’t help but feel is probably good news. Who knows,” she added. But indeed that is good news. Health officials hope that if you’ve had the virus, you can’t get it again — or you can contract a much more mild version.
That could mean she would be one of the safest people to have back on the Salem set if they decided to bring Carrie back and the actress was willing. DAYS hasn’t set a date yet for its return to production but a new report gives hope that it could be soon. When the soap does reveal a date, Soap Hub will be sure to let you know. Days of our Lives (DOOL) airs weekdays on NBC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
