Days of our Lives News: Alison Sweeney Gets Cooking With Deidre Hall

Days of our Lives thrilled fans on Tuesday with the return of Alison Sweeney in pure Sami style as she arrived late to her brother Eric’s wedding. Her return shocked her mother Marlena but it’s easy to tell that Marlena’s portrayer, Deidre Hall, was thrilled to have her back. The two got together for a live event and their offscreen bond was a thrill to watch.

After an initial rough start with the technology, Sweeney got her longtime on-screen mom situated and the two set about making one of Hall’s favorite desserts. She shared the recipe with her followers saying, “Here’s my famous Apple Crisp recipe that I shared on ‘Ali’s Eats‘ today on Instagram Live. So much fun!! Ali is baking hers now, to enjoy tonight. But, I don’t have to wait! Lucky me!! @alisweeney #AlisEats.”

Sweeney recorded the episode of her casual Instagram cooking show and soon shared it saying, “Thank you so much @deidrehall_official for sharing your scrumptious #applecrisp recipe !! 🍏🍏 what fun to chat with you today. While the conversation was amusing as Hall took her onscreen daughter to task for trying to do things perfectly, encouraging her to just toss the apples in, the two did get serious as they excitedly reminisced about the scenes that were airing as they were doing this. They also spoke about Hall’s side business of making greeting cards with her sister.
