Days of Our Lives Casting News: New Male Character Wanted

A new casting call has “Days of Our Lives” on the hunt for a new male character. The show seeks an African-American in his late 20’s to play Levi.

According to Soap Opera Digest, the new Salem resident is said to be “everything a woman could want in a man — he is funny, quick-witted, protective, intelligent and makes an honest living working hard and loving what he does.”

Honest Living?
Guess he’s not going to be a DiMera! The character can also “come off as edgy, not angry.” Considering that most DiMeras appear to have anger issues, he likely comes from another clan or has no ties to Salem yet at all.

The role begins taping in late August, which means you won’t see him on air until 2017 due to DAYS’ six-month taping lead. While the character is recurring for now, there is the possibility that the role could become a contract one.
