Parents don’t like being separated from their little ones, but it’s a reality of life that Moms and Dads need to go to work and children need to start attending school, so time apart is a necessity of life. Fortunately, Days of our Lives star Linsey Godfrey has been given a helpful gift to make time away for her daughter, Aleda, more bearable.
“Biggest thank you to @bryananthonys for sending Birdie and I our new necklaces!” Godfrey posted on Instagram, accompanied by a photograph of her and her daughter, Aleda (whom we’re guessing is affectionately named ‘Birdie!’).
“Mine has a pearl which is Ledy’s birthstone and hers is a little heart inside a big heart. They replaced it for her because her’s broke during some intense monkey bar sessions. How wonderful are they?! I tell her the hearts are us and when she’s missing mama at school I’m always with her. Thank you so much for giving us something to keep close to us when we aren’t together!!”
Bryan Anthony’s is located in Austin, Texas and produces jewelry for “the girl who creates her own story – fashionable pieces layered with meaning. Designed with love in the USA. Live your story.”
Godfrey first burst onto the soap scene as The Bold and the Beautiful’s Caroline Spencer, daughter of Karen (Joanna Johnson) and the namesake of the late Caroline (also played by Johnson), an original cast member of the half-hour soap.
After receiving three Daytime Emmy nominations and exercising both her dramatic and comedic chops, Godfrey left the show. While the character died (“died”?) off-camera, the actress popped over to DAYS as Sarah Horton, Maggie’s (Suzanne Rogers) daughter.
Aleda’s dad, as many fans know, is Robert Adamson (ex-Noah, The Young and the Restless). Days of our Lives airs weekdays on NBC. Check local listings for air times.
