Days of Our Lives Star Kassie DePaiva Celebrated Incredible Milestone

It was a very special day yesterday for Kassie DePaiva who returned to Days of Our Lives as Eve this past New Year’s Eve.

DePaiva was born on March 21, 1961 in Morganfield, Kentucky, which means she is turned 58 today! She is married to soap vet James DePaiva, who was last seen as Dr. Bensch on General Hospital,  and the two have a grown son, James Quentin.

While she’s played Eve off and on since 2013, DePaiva got her daytime start on Guiding Light as Chelsea Reardon.

From there, she took over the role of Blair Cramer, where her pairing with Roger Howarth’s Todd was supercouple gold. After briefly taking Blair to General Hospital, the actress settled into the role of Eve on DAYS.

In July, 2016 she announced she had been diagnosed with acute myeloid leukemia and had to leave the role briefly. But after completing treatment and finding out she is cancer-free, she has returned to Salem with a vengeance.
