Belle Brady may be spending all her time and energy making sure that her daughter Claire receives the mental health care she so desperately needs but actress Maratha Madison certain has a reason to celebrate.
That’s because she was born on July 27, 1977, in Newport News, Virginia, meaning that she is turning 42 years old today! Had it not been for a series of foot and leg injuries
Madison may have never joined the acting world and instead, mastered the art of dance. She was the captain of the Texas A&M Dance Team and danced with the Peyari Dance Project for two years.
Madison’s first acting job was a small cameo in the New York filmed Kate & Leopold. After that project, Madison headed west for Los Angeles to pursue her dreams of becoming a full-time actress.
She scored a speaking in an episode of Law & Order: Criminal Intent and had a short run role on the NBC soap Passions. She later joined the cast of NBC’s other daytime drama Days of Our Lives in the role of legacy character Isabella “Belle” Black.
She stayed in the part until 2008 and rejoined the show on a recurring/guest capacity beginning on November 2015.
The actress’ other television work includes appearances on Without a Trace, Criminal Minds, and Great News. She even briefly joined the competition when she subbed for Rebeca Herbst on ABC’s General Hospital.
Soap Hub would like to wish Madison a very happy birthday and you can too by clicking the twitter link below. Days of Our Lives airs weekdays on NBC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
