Jack and Jennifer fans are in for quite the treat next month when Matthew Ashford makes his five-day “Days of Our Lives” return. During one of those days, the episode will be devoted entirely to Jack and Jennifer, as his spirit helps guide her through one of the darkest times in her life.
Jack and Jennifer shared an epic decades-long romance that began when Jennifer (Melissa Reeves) was just a college student. Jack is the love of her life, and if anyone can help save her from her pill addiction, it’s her late husband.
Soap Hub asked if you’re excited for Matthew Ashford’s Jack return or if you wish the show would have left Jack to rest in peace.

Of about 4,500 votes, 84% of you can’t wait to see these two together again. Jack and Jennifer were one of your all-time favorite DAYS couples and you wish the show would have found a way to bring him back from the dead. You love them so much you think five days is way too short a stay.
A much smaller 11% of you never found yourself rooting for this couple and have no need to see a Ghost Jack, especially for an entire episode.
The final 5% don’t even care. You’ll watch the shows, but you’re not awaiting Jack’s return with baited breath. You’d rather focus on characters who the writers plan to keep around rather than a dead character in ghost form.
