Days of Our Lives Fans Hold Out Hope for Poor, Damaged Abigail

It’s hard to believe how far Abigail has fallen on “Days of Our Lives.” It wasn’t too long ago when she wed the love of her life, creating a family between her, Chad, and Thomas. Now, she seems to have lost it all–and even asked to not see her husband and son again.

As Abby (Kate Mansi) wastes away in a mental institution, Soap Hub asks what you think of her fate. Do you think she’ll one day get well or is she too far gone for help?

You know Kate Mansi’s days on DAYS are numbered, but feel a new Abigail will soon emerge with a new face and brand-new outlook on life. After all, her grandmother has overcome her demons in the past, so why shouldn’t Abby?

Another 20% of you think it’s too late for Abby. Even if DAYS does recast, you think Abby will never be the same. Perhaps the new Abby who emerges will forever have a crazy streak, making her a loose cannon character with a vixen side Chad (Billy Flynn) may have to tame–or even divorce.
