The Days of Our Lives (DOOL) recap for Monday, October 16 features Nicole dealing with a very angry Brady, who has nothing but revenge on his mind.
Revenge Best Served Cold
Nicole (Arianne Zucker) will pay a price for breaking his heart and Brady (Eric Martsolf) intends for it to be steep. She has to break Eric’s heart or go to prison and still lose him and Holly. Nicole desperately tried to reason with Brady. But he let her know she decimated everything they had.
All he has left is the ability to destroy her life, so he’s doing it. She asked about Holly and he said he wanted her happy – but he also wanted she and Eric to be miserable. She finally agreed to break things off with Eric, and Brady screams for her to go do it. Nicole then threw shade at Brady and called him the biggest monster she’s known.
After Brady crushed a framed picture of them, he grabbed a drink. Lucas arrived and asked for one too. He fixed himself one as he waited to speak to Sonny. Lucas asked his drinking buddy for a job at Titan, but Brady said he couldn’t do anything until Victor names a CEO. Alone, Brady swore to bring Nicole down.
You Gotta Have Friends
Nicole shared a special moment with Chloe (Nadia Bjorlin) as she asked her to once again watch Holly so she could go see Eric.
Mama Bear
Sami (Alison Sweeney) stopped Paul (Christopher Sean) and John (Drake Hogestyn) from digging up Will’s (Chandler Massey) grave. They tried to explain their reasons, but she called Rafe (Galen Gering) to report a grave robbing.
When he arrived at the cemetery, Sami made John and Paul leave. Rafe appreciated that she hasn’t changed but then offered a shoulder, knowing the pain this had to be causing her. After he left, she cried at Will’s grave, swearing she’d give her life to have him back. A drunk Lucas arrived, shocking Sami.
Work Conflict
Earlier Hope (Kristian Alfonso) had Rafe on her back about how it will look that she reinstated JJ (Casey Moss). He was also peeved because he doesn’t want Eli as his partner.
After returning from the cemetery, Rafe had Gabi (Camila Banus) to contend with. She made a fervent plea on Eli’s behalf. The fact that the two women he loves and trusts want Eli to have the job caused Rafe to suddenly do a 180 and agreed to have Eli as his partner.
