The Days of Our Lives (DOOL) recap for Tuesday, April 17 features several Salemites with a lot on the line as the votes are in for New Face of Bella contest.
On Pins and Needles
Claire (Olivia Rose Keegan) spied Tripp (Lucas Adams) kissing Ciara (Victoria Konefal). When she overheard them acting like Ciara won the New Face of Bella contest, Claire got snippy.
After Ciara went to her room, Tripp asked Claire to stop being a brat. But then the results came in and it seems Claire won – by one vote. Claire made a big deal of thanking Tripp, who felt horrible.
Ciara blamed herself for not trying harder – but then she did blame him. She told Tripp he had his chance and now it’s too late. He begged for another one, but she said she needed to be alone. Tripp began to wonder how Claire got all those votes and called Theo.
Brady (Eric Martsolf) confided in Maggie (Suzanne Rogers), but then Eve entered, unseen, and smiled when she heard how much he loves her.
She announced her feelings for Brady are dead, but he called her on it, saying the bet provided her perfect cover to try again.
They were both stunned when Claire won and they were about to kiss when Claire busted in. Maggie got her away so they were left alone. When Brady asked Eve to dinner she refused.
Sounding Board
Paul (Christopher Sean) discussed his suspicions about Leo with Will (Chandler Massey), who then told him about Adrienne’s assignment about the back-from-the-dead drug. Paul was stunned when he learned Will plans to talk with Ben’s father, Clyde.
Leo (Greg Rikaart) impressed Sonny (Freddie Smith) on the job front. With Vivian’s words ringing in his ears, he tried to entice Sonny by getting close andfixing his tie. Paul came upon them and observed. After Sonny left, Leo got a text from Vivian and Paul followed.
At Odds
Chloe (Nadia Bjorlin) confronted Kate (Lauren Koslow) about being behind the job opportunity. Kate convinced her that while she wanted her away from Lucas (Bryan Dattilo), it wasn’t her. She warned Chloe that Lucas can’t take any more pain. Vivian (Louise Sorel) overheard them and was amused.
Earlier, Eve (Kassie DePaiva) tried to get Lucas to see it was a huge opportunity for Chloe. When Chloe returned to the club, she told Lucas about her conversation with his mother. He apologized for standing in the way of her dreams and encouraged her to go for it.
