Days of Our Lives’ Deimos Is OUT OF CONTROL

There was a very brief time when we thought we could like Deimos on Days of Our Lives. We felt he’d been wronged by Victor, was imprisoned wrongly, and wanted to start over to live a happy life with Nicole.

Boy were we wrong! That time was brief because Deimos is clearly just as deranged as he was the day he showed up in Salem last year.

The havoc he’s caused in just a little over a year is mind-boggling. He seems to be behind just about every nefarious plot that comes Salem’s way and this week, he goes all out kidnapping both Gabi (Camila Banus) and Abby (Marci Miller) just weeks after he kept Gabi and Chad (Billy Flynn) locked in a freezer for who really knows how long?

Deimos is the reason Chloe (Nadia Bjorlin) decided there was no way she was letting Nicole have Holly since Nicole (Arianne Zucker) clearly lost her mind after Daniel died and felt such grief, she latched onto any guy whose name started with “D” and had even the slightest relation to Maggie.

While we know Vincent Irizarry is on his way out in a few months, some of you want to see Deimos go down sooner and Soap Hub asked if you think Victor (John Aniston) should be the one to stop him.

SHOWDOWN!
Out of about 7,500 votes, a whopping 95% of you think Victor needs to pull out every bit of ammunition he has and put a stop to his demented brother ASAP. Most of you are worried Brady will get hurt due to Deimos’s obsession with Nicole–and Brady’s attachment to her. In the end, you think that a Victor and Deimos showdown is the only way to go.

Slow Down
A very small 2% of you think Victor should not be the one to take on Deimos because his motivations might be wrong. After all, Deimos is obsessed with Nicole (as is Brady, apparently), and Victor detests Nicole. You think if Nicole stayed out of this, then the brothers could just face off and have that confrontation they should have had all those years ago.

Hmmm…
The final 3% are not sure what you want to see happen and wish the soap had chosen to redeem Deimos rather than make him a monster.
