Days of our Lives C&G News

Who’s coming and who’s going from Days of Our Lives (DOOL)? Are any favorite performers from yesteryear returning to the daytime drama, this week, or in the near future?

Have any new actors or actresses been cast on the show in contract, recurring or day player roles? Are any well-remembered stars from other soaps, past or present, about to join Days of Our Lives fold in surprise new parts? Here’s the latest casting news from the NBC soap.

The week of November 25, 2019
The wait is finally over for Steve and Kayla (Mary Beth Evans) fans. Stephen Nichols returns as Steve Johnson on Wednesday, November 27.

Nichols last appeared on the soap in August of 2018, yet never had a proper exit scene. Instead, it was later explained that Steve had been arrested for espionage orchestrated via his bionic eye.

As reported, last week, Kingston Foster, who popped up as the new Ariana Horton for one episode the week of November 11, has already been replaced due to other work commitments. Word is Sydney Brower has taken over the role of Will (Chandler Massey) and Gabi’s (Camila Banus) daughter.

What do you think? Post a comment!

Brower’s previous credits include guest-starring as Penny on American Housewife (2018-2019) and Everett on Ryan Hansen Solves Crimes on Television (2017-2019). Arianna was originally portrayed by Sydnee and Harper Udell.

Days of Our Lives History

DAYS made its debut in 1965 and the longest-running of the daytime soap operas still on the air. It has outlasted other soaps to become a mainstay for many households. Needless to say, five decades of storylines have kept viewers locked in and wanting more.

From Stefano DiMera’s (Joseph Mascolo) evil schemes to Victor Kiriakis’s (John Aniston) one-liners to the epic love story of Bo (Peter Reckell) and Hope (Kristian Alfonso), DAYS knows how to entertain and keep fans coming back for more. Sadly, times are shifting and daytime soap operas are shrinking.

DOOL’s Salem Drama Unleashed

It is one of only four remaining soap operas currently on the air. The other three daytime dramas include General Hospital (GH), The Young and the Restless (YR), and The Bold and the Beautiful (BB). DAYS airs weekdays on NBC. Check your local listings for air times.
