After seven years, a popular DiMera is set to be returning to the Salem fold. However, there is a caveat. He won’t be played by the actor who rose to daytime fame in the role.
Word is that the long-missing EJ DiMera will soon be resurfacing. The character, last played by James Scott, was “killed off” in 2014, but deemed alive in 2018. The role will reportedly be played by Dan Feuerriegel, this time around. The actor is best known for his role as Agron in the Starz series Spartacus and has also appeared as Gavin in the series Home and Away.

DOOL made its debut in 1965 and is one of the longest-running daytime soap operas in American history. It has outlasted other soaps to become a mainstay for many households. Needless to say, five decades of storylines have kept viewers locked in and wanting more.
From Sami Brady’s (Alison Sweeney) crazy schemes to Victor Kiriakis’s (John Aniston) one-liners to the epic love story of John (Drake Hogestyn) and Marlena (Deidre Hall), DAYS knows how to entertain and keep fans coming back for more. Fans love their daytime soap operas and the excitement in Salem is non-stop.
