Bryan Dattilo is headed back to the show as Lucas Horton, later this month. It’s another recurring stint for a limited run. Dattilo was last seen back in June when Lucas returned to be by his son Will’s side when he was near death.
Meanwhile, Dr. Henry Shah will be back on the scene beginning Tuesday, September 12, but Andre Khabbazi won’t be portraying him this time around. The actor had a scheduling conflict, so the role was recast.
Piter Marek is taking over as the Salem University Hospital medico. He previously appeared on DAYS back in 2012 as Dr. Lewis. Primetime fans may recognize Marek from his recurring role of Nik Korpal on Blacklist from 2015 to 2017. Days of our Lives (DOOL) airs weekdays on NBC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
