The week of June 17, 2019
Airdates have been released for this month’s big returns. Bryan Dattilo, who left town as Lucas in December of 2018, and Alison Sweeney, who made her last appearance as Sami in November of 2018, begin airing on Wednesday, June 19. The two characters are back to be there for their dying son, Will, portrayed by Chandler Massey.
Meanwhile, Brandon Beemer (ex-Shawn) and Christie Clark (ex-Carrie) are back on Thursday, June 20, to attend memorial services for their grandmother, Caroline. The character’s death was scripted after actress Peggy McCay passed away.
One member of the Brady family who won’t be back for the tribute to Caroline is Patsy Pease, who played Kimberly. The show’s head writer, Rob Carlivati, took to Twitter to explain that the actress was unavailable because she had just had surgery at the time the soap was taping.
