Who’s coming and who’s going from Days of Our Lives (DOOL)?

Are any favorite performers from yesteryear returning to the daytime drama, this week, or in the near future?

Have any new actors or actresses been cast on the show in contract, recurring or day player roles? Are any well-remembered stars from other soaps, past or present, about to join Days of Our Lives fold in surprise new parts?

Here’s the latest casting news from the NBC soap.

The week of April 30, 2018
Jen Lilley resurfaces as Theresa Donovan on Thursday, May 3. Lilley, who originally began portraying the character in 2013, opted to leave the soap when her contract expired in 2016. She’s back for an extended storyline arc that will involve Eric Martsolf (Brady) and Kassie DePaiva (Eve).

In other big return news, Robert Scott Wilson has inked a new contract with DAYS. The actor wreaked havoc as Abigail’s (Marci Miller) deranged ex, Ben Weston, and was also revealed as The Necktie Killer. Wilson made his last appearance in November 2017.

Cassandra Creech, who played Denise Maynard Dixon on As the World Turns from 1998 to 2001 and Dana Kramer on Another World in 1994, is playing Diane, the inmate who beat up Gabi (Camila Banus). The role is recurring. It’s not Creech’s first time on DAYS. Back in 2010, she played a character named Keisha.

Days of our Lives (DOOL) airs weekdays on NBC. Check your local listings for air times.
