The week of May 18, 2020

It’s a wrap for two actors. Kyle Lowder finishes up his latest visit as Rex Brady. The character initially popped up on April 30, when Sarah (Linsey Godfrey) ran into him at a Paris cafe.

Also bidding adieu to Salem is Brock Kelly. The actor’s final air date as Evan Frears/Christian Maddox is on Thursday, May 21. Kelly made his debut on the soap as David’s nanny back in November of 2019.

Meanwhile, Kyler Ends, who plays Rafe’s (Galen Gering) foster son, David, appears on Friday, May 22. Look for the tyke to share scenes with Drake Hogestyn’s John.

Days of our Lives History

DOOL made its debut in 1965 and is one of the longest-running daytime soap operas in American history. It has outlasted other soaps to become a mainstay for many households. Needless to say, five decades of storylines have kept viewers locked in and wanting more.

From Stefano DiMera’s (Joseph Mascolo) evil schemes to Victor Kiriakis’s (John Aniston) one-liners to the epic love story of Bo (Peter Reckell) and Hope (Kristian Alfonso), DAYS knows how to entertain and keep fans coming back for more. Sadly, times are shifting and daytime soap operas are shrinking.

Bringing the Drama

It is one of only four remaining soap operas currently on the air. The other three daytime dramas include General Hospital (GH), The Young and the Restless (YR), and The Bold and the Beautiful (BB). DAYS airs weekdays on NBC. Check your local listings for air times.
