The Week of November 4, 2019

It’s the end of the line for Jordan Ridgeway. Chrishell Hartley is wrapping up her latest stint as, Ben’s (Robert Scott Wilson) psychologically-unbalanced sister in dramatic fashion. She makes her final appearance as the character on Friday, November 8. Hartley returned to the soap on September 17.

Dexter and Jaxton Elis have been playing Jordan’s son, David. However, the twins are reportedly being recast to accommodate the show’s upcoming time jump storyline. There’s no word as to who will be taking over the role.

Days of Our Lives History

DAYS made its debut in 1965 and the longest-running of the daytime soap operas still on the air. It has outlasted other soaps to become a mainstay for many households. Needless to say, five decades of storylines have kept viewers locked in and wanting more.

From Stefano DiMera’s (Joseph Mascolo) evil schemes to Victor Kiriakis’s (John Aniston) one-liners to the epic love story of Bo (Peter Reckell) and Hope (Kristian Alfonso), DAYS knows how to entertain and keep fans coming back for more. Sadly, times are shifting and daytime soap operas are shrinking.

DOOL’s Salem Drama Unleashed

It is one of only four remaining soap operas currently on the air. The other three daytime dramas include General Hospital (GH), The Young and the Restless (YR), and The Bold and the Beautiful (BB). DAYS airs weekdays on NBC. Check your local listings for air times.
