Fan favorite Matthew Ashford returns as Jack Deveraux for a poignant and powerful special episode on Wednesday December 20, revolving around JJ’s despair over shooting Theo (Kyler Pettis) and his thoughts of committing suicide. Look for Ashford to share scenes with Casey Moss (JJ) as well as Melissa Reeves (Jennifer).

Ashford’s character was killed off the soap in an elevator accident in August 2012. However, he returned in a vision to Jennifer back in May 2016. At the time Jennifer was spiraling from a serious prescription pill addiction and Jack turned up to help guide her down the right path.
